Description

This course introduces the tools used to create and participate in workgroups.  In this course, you will develop the skills necessary to create and access workgroups, communicate and collaborate with workgroup members.

Learning Outcomes

By the end of this course, participants will have the knowledge and skills needed to create and actively participate in workgroups.

After completing this course, you will be able to

•  Create a new workgroup
•  Access a workgroup
•  Send email, texts, and post news to workgroup members
•  Create and manage email distribution lists
•  Create, manage, and respond to a survey or poll
•  Add, edit, and view calendar events
•  Post discussion topics and replies

Delivery Methods

This is an online course hosted on the Adobe Connect Pro web conferencing platform.  To participate in a Connect Pro meeting, all you need to have installed is the Adobe Flash Player, version 8 or later.  The Flash Player is already installed on over 98% of internet connected computers worldwide so you will not have to install any software prior to attending this course.

Prerequisites

It is recommended that you have first taken the Fundamentals of Your Secure Portal course, as it provides a foundation for the content covered in this course.
